Stump Grinding
Grinding down leftover stumps to a clean finish below grade, minimizing landscape impact so the ground is instantly ready to replant, re-turf, or build on. Whether it's a single stump or several left over from a removal, we clear the site completely.
You'll work with the same crew on every visit, backed by a single point of contact who knows your property. No call centers, no rotating subcontractors, just a local team that leaves the yard clean and ready for what's next.
Stumps ground clean, ground ready to use again
Grinding below grade
Stumps ground down below the surface so nothing is left to trip on or mow around.
Single & multi-stump jobs
One leftover stump or several across the property, cleared in a single visit.
Minimal landscape impact
Equipment sized to the job to protect surrounding lawn, beds, and hardscape.
Replant-ready ground
Wood chips and debris cleared so the area is instantly ready to replant, re-turf, or build on.
All your questions, answered.
How far below grade do you grind the stump?
Typically 4-6 inches below the surface, enough to mow or replant over without hitting wood. If you're planning to build on the spot, we can grind deeper, and we'll confirm the right depth during your on-site assessment.
What happens to the wood chips afterward?
We can haul the chips away or leave them on-site for use as mulch, whichever you prefer.
Can you grind multiple stumps in one visit?
Yes, we can grind several stumps in a single visit, which often makes it more cost-effective than scheduling separate trips.
How much does stump grinding typically cost?
Cost depends on stump size, number of stumps, and access. We'll assess your property and provide a clear, fixed quote.
